A mixed case of Dry & Delicious Rosés, perfect for celebrating
Whispering Angel Cotes de Provence Rosé
Château d’Esclans produce what many consider to be the world’s best rose wines. Whispering Angles is no exception, this iconic rose is now THE benchmark for Provence style Rose wine. Pale pink in colour, it has flavours of redcurrant, dried flowers and spices on the nose, with a subtle herbal quality. Dry, with bitter red fruit flavours, it has a firm finish with lingering herbal notes. Amazingly moreish, it is great with oily fish such as smoked salmon.
Franschhoek Cellars Rosé, South Africa
Franschhoek Cellar Rosé is a crisp and dry Rosé made in a classic Provençal style, according to the winemaker, with just a hint of ripeness and a fresh acidity for balance. An appealing pink-tinged colour with sumptuous sweet red berries and cherries tinged with discreet spice. A succulent palate leads to a soft, dry finish. The perfect partner to smoked salmon, sushi, prawns, smoked chicken and cold meats.
Bodegas Campillo Rosado, Rioja, Spain
Single vineyard wine. 100% Garnacha grapes from Finca Cuesta Clara. This wine is made in one of the most iconic and visited wineries from the Rioja “Golden mile”, Laguardia. Pretty pale pink salmon with an intense, fruity character with pleasant floral notes. Delicate and fine aromas of redcurrants and lilacs begin with background notes of tropical fruit. Pleasant on the palate, good acidity, very well integrated and balanced that prolongs the freshness.
