Château Dauzac, a 5th growth Grand Cru Classé Margaux is located near the Gironde estuary whose influence on the vineyard’s ecosystem is critical, the property is protected from ocean winds thanks to 120 hectares of meadows and forests. This helps to enhance the exceptional characteristics of this Grand Cru Classé wine.
Harvesting is naturally manual, respecting the integrity of the fruit. Every plot is vinified separately in thermo-regulated vats, for the gentle extraction of tannins. The result is highly refined and precise.
The 2015 vintage reflects splendid ripe grapes at optimal maturity. The mouthfeel is impressively elegant and smooth. It is well-balanced with a touch of freshness and thus has exceptional ageing potential.
