Château Talbot is a 4th Médoc Grand Cru Classé, comprises 110 hectares of a single vineyard in the heart of the Saint-Julien commune. It is an outstanding appellation as it counts no fewer than 11 classified growths.
Ideally situated on the banks of the Gironde estuary on hilltops of alluvial gravel carried by the Dordogne River from the Massif Central and from the Pyrenees by the Garonne, Château Talbot’s terroir is exceptional - hence its exceptional wines!
This stunning 2014 vintage is a dense and deep ruby colour. With a perfumed nose of violet and cassis with mineral tones. Fresh and energetic on the palate, with suave flavors of dark berries, minerals and dry herbs. This captivating Talbot has lovely length and balance. Perfect with All sorts of red meat, Roasts and hard to medium soft cheese.
