Blagny is a tiny hamlet high on the slope on the Meursault-Puligny border and unsurprisingly makes wines that combine the richness of Meursault with the greater austerity of Puligny.
Grapes are picked at optimum ripeness to ensure good level of acidity. All wines are barrel-fermented to add further complexity to the wine.
This 1er Cru has a fine, honeyed fruit note, just the right amount of toasty oak and excellent acidity on the finish.
